Alisha replaces Rachael Ellering in the upcoming Ultimate X Match; Masha Slamovich wins debut match

It has been confirmed that Alisha will be replacing Rachael Ellering in the upcoming inaugural Knockouts Ultimate X Match at Hard to Kill.

The event takes place this Saturday on Jan. 8. The winner of this match will earn a future title opportunity. Alisha joins Jordynne Grace, Tasha Steelz, Rosemary, Lady Frost, and Chelsea Green.

There was a Six-Knockout Tag Team match that took place on this week’s IMPACT! as a final build towards the match this weekend. It had on one team Green, Lady Frost, and Steelz facing Grace, Ellering, and Rosemary. Green won it for her team after hitting an Unprettier on Ellering and getting the pin.

After the match, IMPACT! took to social media to state that Alisha will replace Ellering in the Ultimate X match. Alisha was pushing for a spot in the match and when the original six were announced she was not a part of it. No explanation was provided for the change.

Alisha took part in the Monsters Ball match at Knockouts Knockdown in October. That match included Kimber Lee, Jordynne Grace, and Savannah Evans. Evans would go on to win that bout.

Elsewhere on this week’s IMPACT! Masha Slamovich made her official debut after signing as an official Knockout. She faced Sandra Moone. Slamovich dominates and puts Moone away quickly.

Deonna Purrazzo defeated Mercedes Martinez in her final match before going after the Knockouts World Title at Hard to Kill. Purrazzo will be getting her rematch against the champion Mickie James and used Martinez as the last message that needed to be sent. Purrazzo wins with the Venus di Milo submission.

After the match, James and Purrazzo have a stare-down in the ring but thanks to their no-contact clause they held back any fists.

Lastly, the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles will be defended this Saturday. The Influence will get their shot against the champs, The IInspiration. During the first episode of the champ’s new talk show, “All About II” the Influence appears and accuses them of stealing their talk show name “All about Me.” The two teams have a struggle over the belts as Kaleb with a K and Jai with an I sit nearby.
