Ash by Elegance Crowned New TNA Knockouts Champion; Jordynne Grace And Blake Monroe Tear Down At Heatwave

Ash by Elegance is your NEW TNA Knockouts World Champion. She won the gold and brought it back to TNA at the WWE Heatwave event on Sunday. She pinned former champion Masha Slamovich, taking the belt off of Jacy Jayne in a Triple Threat.

During the match Fatal Influence was ejected from ringside, truly leaving Jayne all by herself. Who didn’t get ejected though were the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions, The Elegance Brand. They pulled put Jayne from a near win and pin on Slamovich after Rolling Encore. Ash headed up top for a Swanton and landed it on Slamovich, pinning her for the gold.

Ash is technically the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champion, which now will seemingly float over to M by Elegance and she will hold the gold with Heather. M and Heather successfully defended the tag team gold together at TNA’s recent Emergence event.

Heatwave was a show full of women’s matches. Jordynne Grace took on Blake Monroe in a very personal encounter. Grace blames Monroe for costing her the NXT Women’s Title at Evolution. This match laid out everything between two of the next biggest talents in WWE. Monroe would come out with the victory.

A mixed tag team match took place between Chelsea Green & Ethan Page taking on Tyra Mae Steele and Tavion Heights. Even with being the heels, the crowd was fully behind Green and Page.

The final moments of the bout saw m Alba Fyre make her way into the ring while the referee was distracted and superkick Steele. Green saw her opening and hit Steele with the Unprettier, to pick up the win for her team.

A new number one contender for the NXT Women’s Title was determined in a Triple Threat. The winner of that was Lola Vice. More on that here.
