We continue with the new AMC era of TNA Impact, and we hear from Daria Rae, who looks to take this show to the next level.
Indi Hartwell goes one-on-one against one-half of the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, M By Elegance. After Hartwell seemingly ran over her this past weekend on Genesis, the two will face off to settle the matter.
M tries to hightail it away from Hartwell, but shades of last weekend, Hartwell puts her foot down. Hartwell, unfortunately, gets caught on the top rope, and Mr. Elegance distracts the referee just in time for George Iceman to use his own shoe to keep Hartwell off her feet.
The numbers game proves to be too much for Hartwell, but the crowd gets behind her to find an opportunity. She tries to go for Hurts Don’t It, but both end up tussling for the pin. In the end, Hartwell manages to score the 1-2-3 for the in.
The Elegance Brand is furious and begins to attack Hartwell. Their leader, Ash By Elegance, puts a stop to it. M gives Ashh a little push, and in comes to save the day are Xia Brookside and the TNA Knockouts World Champion, Lei Ying Lee.
Ash looks to go against The Elegance Brand until she clocks Lee from behind. She delivers a DDT to Lee and, by the looks of it, is ready to get back in that TNA ring and gain her title back.
Rae’s newest Knockout signee, Elayna Black, addresses the Impact Zone as well as the Knockouts division tonight. She touts her social media success, and her sights are set on claiming the Knockouts title. It’s the era of Elayna, and next week she’ll be in action to show that she’s just not all talk.
Rae and Santino Marella are backstage watching that unfold. They’re soon to be interrupted by Marella’s daughter, Arianna Grace. Grace apologizes for all she’s done, but Marella is quick to accept with some doubt. Could she be telling the truth here?
What did you think of tonight’s TNA Impact? What is Ash’s next plan of action? Can Black live up to her words? Let us know in the comments below!
