Despite rumors Asuka reportedly worked WrestleMania

Update: Conflicting reports are now saying that Asuka was at WrestleMania for the taping. The Wrestling Observer states that although there were prior rumors that Asuka and Cesaro missed Mania, they were present. Wrestling Inc. has retracted their orignal report.

“Despite reports otherwise, Asuka and Cesaro both worked WrestleMania with no health issues.” – Wrestling Observer

Original report:

It is being reported that Asuka has been added to the ever growing list of competitors who will not be participating on WrestleMania 36. With the show already taped, Wrestling Inc. has reported that Asuka will not be on the show.

One half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions was heading towards a title match against Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross. In fact, Asuka is scheduled to face Alexa Bliss on tonight’s SmackDown which has already been pre-taped.

The very early plans were said to include Natalya and Beth Phoenix in this rivalry, but that never came to fruition.

It is important to note that at this time there has been no confirmation that any Superstar has been infected by Coronavirus. WWE nor any Superstar has come forward saying otherwise.

Furthermore, it is assumed that Asuka, Dana Brooke, and the rest of the list that will not be partaking in WrestleMania were pulled due to precautionary measures.

If further information arises, Diva Dirt will be updating our readers.
