On the July 30 episode of AEW Dynamite, Athena delivered O-Face to Toni Storm and got the three count to win a tag team match. Athena was teaming with Billie Starkz while Storm had Alex Windsor as her partner.
Athena, who is closing in on 1,000 days as ROH Women’s Champion, won the Casino Gauntlet match at All In. From this, she holds a contract to cash in on an AEW Women’s World Title shot. Now that she’s pinned the champion, does she have the boost needed to get the job done when it matters the most?
Elsewhere on Dynamite, we hear from both Willow Nightingale and Thekla. The two women will face off on Collision which has a special night this week on Thursday, July 31.
