The forever ROH Women’s World Champion Athena has laid out a challenge for Syrui. Syuri is the current IWGP Women’s Champion and has held the gold since October as she is in her second reign.
Athena, referring to herself as the American Joshi, will be making her NJPW debut in New Jersey at New Beginning on Feb. 27. She laid out the challenge to face Syuri with Syuri’s gold on the line.
