After weeks of absence, we got a vignette featuring the interim ROH Women’s World Television Championship, Mina Shirakawa.
Explaining that after her loss in the All In gauntlet match, her hand was broken by Athena, and stating that even if Athena is 68-0 in title defenses, she cannot 69 Mina!
A title match for the ROH Women’s World Championship was set up for the upcoming Death Before Dishonor on August 29th.
We also had a women’s match between Taya Valkyrie and Leila Grey, both accompanied to the ring by their respective teams.
With Valkyrie getting the upper hand after a distraction from husband Johnny TV. She quickly began working on her opponent’s legs (and crotch)
After a steamy tongue kiss, Valkyrie got her strength to mock our resident baddie.While Christopher Daniels made his best efforts to get the crowd invested, giving Grey the emotional support necessary to fight back.
Leila was able to finish things up (after yet another distraction) with a cutter turned into a dragon sleeper for the win. Her biggest win (so far) for Grey, she celebrated alongside her manager, leaving Valkyirie dressed in distress.
