Bayley and Alexa Bliss Celebrate Six Years On The Main Roster

Both former champions Bayley and Alexa Bliss are celebrating six years on the main roster this month.

First, Bayley had her first on-screen match for the main roster as a surprise tag team partner for Sasha Banks at the 2016 Battleground pay-per-view on July 24. They faced Charlotte and Dana Brooke and came out with the victory. She would later debut on Raw on August 22. She faced Dana Brooke and received her first win on Raw.

Bayley has currently been out of action for over a year since being hit with an ACL injury in July of 2021. She first signed with WWE in 2012 and debuted in NXT in January of 2013. She will be celebrating ten years in a WWE ring at the start of next year!

Since Bayley has been on the main roster she has accomplished the following in the past six years –

  • Raw Women’s Champion
  • Two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion
  • Current longest-reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion – 380-days
  • Current longest-reigning combined days as SmackDown Women’s Champion – 521-days
  • Two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion – with Sasha Banks
  • 2019 Money in the Bank Winner
  • First WWE Women’s Triple Crown Champion
  • First WWE Women’s Grand Slam Champion

She is also a former NXT Women’s Champion before moving to the main roster.

Alexa Bliss debuted on the main roster on July 26 in 2016. She was drafted to SmackDown from NXT the same month during the 2016 WWE Draft. She would be part of a women’s division promo for the blue brand before having her first match on August 9 against Becky Lynch. Bliss came out with the win in her debut match.

Bliss originally signed with WWE in May 2013. She made several appearances including being part of Triple H’s entrance at WrestleMania XXX in 2014 alongside Charlotte and Sasha Banks. Her first match was successful as she defeated Alicia Fox in an NXT Women’s Title Tournament first-round match in May 2014.

Since Alexa Bliss has been on the main roster she has accomplished the following in the past six years –

  • Three-time Raw Women’s Champion
  • Two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion
  • Two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion– with Nikki Cross
  • 2018 Money in the Bank Winner
  • WWE 24/7 Championship 
  • Second Women’s Triple Crown Champion

Bliss most recently defeated Doudrop on Raw and made claims that she will go for the top of the division after SummerSlam.
