At the time of this writing, Bayley is not on the SummerSlam card. She was given the opportunity to become the number one contender for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title. However, she lost in a 2 out of 3 Falls match against Lyra Valkyria.
In a backstage interview on the go-home episode of Raw before this weekend big event, Bayley had a somber reaction to Jackie Redmond’s concern. When asked where she feels she is at and what’s next, Bayley responded:
“I already missed WrestleMania and now I’m missing SummerSlam. So, Jackie, for the first time in my career, I’m at a loss of words.”
