Beat The Clock “I Quit” Challenge Set For April 29 SmackDown

On this week’s SmackDown, the show kicked off with a contract signing between the SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and her challenger at WrestleMania Backlash, Ronda Rousey. The two will be in an “I Quit Match” at the Premium Live Event.

The contract signing included Flair explaining to Rousey what the rules of an “I Quit” match are which is there are no rules. The crowd was behind Rousey who continues to remind Flair that she did in fact tap out at WrestleMania. As Rousey went to sign the contract, Flair flipped over the table and had a kendo stick hidden for her use. Rousey would quickly get ahold of the kendo stick and use it to her advantage instead.

Flair fled the ring as the intern to Adam Pearce, Drew Gulak, tried to have Rousey sign the contract. Rousey would sign the contract, but only after putting Gulak in an armbar and signing the contract on top of him.

Next week as we continue building to WrestleMania Backlash, both Rousey and Flair will be in action. They will each have a match in a Beat the Clock “I Quit” Challenge where they will try to make their respective opponents say “I Quit” faster than the other. Although not confirmed on WWE programming, next week’s episode has been taped and Flair will be taking on Aliyah while Rousey faces Shotzi.
