In a moment that certainly had many with tears in their eyes, Becky Lynch has announced that she is pregnant on tonight’s RAW. Lynch walked her way down to the ring holding Asuka‘s Money in the Bank briefcase that she won the night before. Most notably missing was the RAW Women’s Championship draped over Lynch’s shoulder. A sight we have seen for nearly 400-days.
After Asuka joins Lynch in the ring. Lynch lets Asuka know that she has to go away for a while and that doesn’t make our MITB winner too happy. What happens to be inside the briefcase turns out the be the RAW Women’s Championship and all of its glory. It turns out that the MITB Ladder Match that we all witnessed last night was actually not for the briefcase, it was for the title itself.
Asuka celebrated around the ring and on the ramp before making her way back up to stand by Lynch. Lynch gave a tearful message next, “You go and be a warrior, ’cause I’m gonna go be a mother.” The two then embrace.
Lynch makes her way up the ramp saying before the segment ends, “I’m gonna miss you guys.”
