Becky Lynch remains the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion as she defeated Nikki Bella at Clash in Paris on Sunday. This was the first time these two women had gone one-on-one in their careers, and the first championship match for Nikki since 2018.
Nikki went for the Fearless Lock several times during the match to try and get Lynch to tap. The last moments of the match included Nikki going for the Rack Attack 2.0, but Lynch slipped out of it and landed into a ManHandle Slam from Nikki to Lynch. Lynch kicked out, much to Nikki’s dismay.
Finally, Lynch would put Nikki away with a backslide that has been named the Lynch Pin.
Lynch’s defeat to Nikki has landed her at 85-plus days as champion. She has successfully defended six times so far.
