There have only been two women to hold the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship so far and those women are Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch. While Valkyria would go on to be successful as the inaugural champion and hold the belt for 145 days, Lynch has surpassed this at 146 days. The belt was won by Lynch from Valkyria at the Money in the Bank event.
Lynch has successfully defended the gold seven times at the time of this writing. She has defeated the likes of Valkyria, Bayley, Natalya, Maxxine Dupri, and Nikki Bella.
