Bianca Belair follows up her successful debut on SmackDown last week with another important win. Belair qualifies as the first participant for the SmackDown Women’s Team in the traditional Survivor Series match that will take place at the upcoming event. She defeated both Billie Kay and Natalya in a Triple Threat.
The final moment of the match has Belair catching Kay in the K.O.D. which led her to get the three count for the win.
It appears they are building up the SmackDown Women’s Team for Survivor Series slower than RAW’s. RAW only had one qualifying match which Lana won making her the fifth and final member.
The other members of the team were chosen without having to have qualifying matches. The RAW team includes Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler, Mandy Rose, Dana Brooke, and the aforementioned Lana.
This will be Belair’s second year being part of a Survivor Series team. Last year she was part of the NXT Team who were part of the event. Her team won, but she was eliminated by Sasha Banks. The survivors of Team NXT were Io Shirai, Rhea Ripley, and Candice LeRae.
