Both women entered in style and looked fantastic on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
WrestleMania 38 was the full circle moment from SummerSlam that Belair needed. After losing her SmackDown Women’s Champion to Lynch in 26 seconds in August, the two played with that notion to start the match. Attempting to execute their finishers to try and put away one another, Belair kicked out of the Manhandle Slam avoiding history to repeat itself.
The match would continue to be high octane and with every near fall, the fans jumped out of their seats. Eventually, the match would come down to Lynch thinking she was going to win it via count-out. She hit the Manhandle Slam onto the steel steps to which Belair appeared to be knocked out cold. Belair found every ounce of energy left at the count of nine and made it back into the ring. Lynch showed complete frustration from having to continue.
Belair would finally hit the KOD on Lynch to get the pin with the crowd erupting in applause.
A huge congratulations to Bianca Belair for being one of only seven women in history to have won both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships.
