The CMLL World Women’s Championship will be defended this Saturday on AEW’s Collision. The current champion Persephone will defend against Billie Starkz.
Persephone has held the championship for 111 days and counting ever since she took the belt off of Mercedes Mone in March. She has successfully defended it so far against Lacey Lane and Tessa Blanchard.
This is the second women’s match confirmed for Collision as we will also see Mone team up with Athena to take on Maya World and Hyan. This will air just one night before Mone and Maya battle in the finals of the Owen Hart Cup at Forbidden Door this Sunday, June 28.
