For a lack of any real update on the status of Britt Baker, AEW’s CEO Tony Khan has stated she is still with the company. It has been nearly a year how since Baker has had a match. She was last seen in the ring last November on an episode of Dynamite where she defeated Penelope Ford.
A rumor had been going around in July that Baker was attempting to get out of her contract.
Tony Khan told @Z100NewYork’s Superstar Crossover that he would love to have Britt Baker back in AEW. Furthermore that she is still “very much with us.”
“What a great star in AEW Dr Britt Baker has been. She is still a fantastic, fantastic wrestling star. She’s been away from AEW for a while, but still very much with us, and at some point hopefully soon, I’d love to see Dr Britt Baker come back.”
Baker is a former AEW Women’s World Champion.
