Carmella Confirms She’s Retired: “I Can’t Wrestle Anymore”

Former SmackDown Women’s Champion and the first women’s Money in the Bank briefcase holder, Carmella, has confirmed that she is retired. She stared with WWE in 2013.

On a recent podcast, Hot Mom Shit, Carmella confirmed her retirement with business woman Laura Clery. She was discussing her relationship with her husband and Raw commentator Corey Graves.

“We worked together and met through work. We worked together all the time and then we were home. I related a little bit to your book when you were saying, ‘Our dates were half romance, half business planning.’ We did that. Luckily, I don’t…I’m retired now. It’s definitely a little bit different.”

Carmella followed up by saying, “I was a professional wrestler. I can’t wrestle anymore. I’m a mom, I have kids, I am retired.”

Carmella last wrestled in 2023 before she announced she was pregnant with her first child. She had a second child with Graves in 2025.
