Carmella has been out of action for well over a year. Her last on-screen match was a loss to Bianca Belair on Raw in March 2023. She was in a tag team with Chelsea Green prior to announcing her pregnancy. She gave birth to her baby boy in November. She last commented about a return to the ring stating that she is still healing from giving birth. Carmella has frequently stated that she has been having issues with her foot.
