CharLexa Retain In Main Event; Roxanne Perez Pins Hall of Famer

Raw continues to fire on all cylinders this week. First, we witnessed Nikki Bella taking on Roxanne Perez.

The Hall of Famer came to the rescue last week for the Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer as the champion was outnumbered by the Judgment Day. Last week, Vaquer defeated Roxann Perez prior to the two-on-one attack, this week, Perez got the win against Nikki.

Throughout this week’s match, Perez targeted the surgically repaired neck of Nikki. As the match went on, Raquel Rodriguez made her presence known which caused Nikki to knock her off the rope. Perez took advantage and rolled up Nikki but was caught by the referee with her foot on the ropes. Nikki tried on multiple occasions to land the Rack Attack 2.0 but was unable to do it.

The final moments had both women in the corner as Nikki was thrown into the turnbuckles only to be caught in Pop Rox to give Perez a huge victory. After the match, Rodriguez would get involved which pulled out Vaquer from backstage. Vaquer and Rodriguez stared each other down toe to toe before Nikki popped up to have the back of Vaquer. The Judgment Day retreated.

Later in the night, an interview took place with Vaquer and Nikki and they will be facing Perez and Rodriguez next week in tag team action.

Throughout the night, the Kabuki Warriors were taunting the women who would take part in the main event. In the main event, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles were on the line as Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss took on Lyra Valkyria and Bayley. This was a match that Bayley got set up after taunting the champions on social media over the weekend. As for Asuka and Kairi Sane, they felt they should be the one’s in the match instead of Bayley and Valkyria.

This match was excellent and showed how well all four women work together. A few stand out moments include when Bayley was trapped in the Figure Eight and Valkyria entered to hold Bayley’s hand to prevent her from tapping out. This led to Bliss hitting Twisted Bliss on Valkyria to break up the whole moment. To end the match, we received a double Natural Selection by both Flair and Bliss. Flair would pin Bayley to get the victory.

After the match, The Kabuki Warriors would rush down and go after both teams, starting with the champions. They would get chased off by Bayley who came in to save Valkyria.

Despite Becky Lynch not appearing this week, we did get continuation between herself and Maxxine Dupri. In a backstage moment between Dupri and Adam Pearce, Pearce said that she earned one more shot at the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Dupri has picked up two victories over Lynch, one a count out and one a disqualification…but victories nonetheless. Dupri says she is very thankful for another opportunity as they don’t come often. She says she will let Pearce know when she wants the match, because she has to make a call first to make sure she is ready.
