Charlotte Flair seems to be having a bit of the film bug. Although she has done some brief acting in Psych: The Movie and the revived Punky Brewster, Flair has kept pretty much to her role inside the ring. She was originally up for the part of June Byers in the recent Queen of the Ring film, but that role went to AEW’s Kamille.
While speaking with Fanatics Live Signing, Flair did say she took part in a horror film as a lead role. She played a serial killer known as Ms. Perfect, and she is not sure if it will ever be released, but she said the following.
“I have dabbled. I love it. I don’t know if it’s ever going to see the light of day, but I did do a horror film this summer. I played Ms. Perfect, a serial killer. Performing in front of you guys and being able to feel the emotion and instant gratification, I live for that. When I’m in the ring, it’s my happy place. When I was playing Ms. Perfect, I really dug it. I didn’t get to have the physicality or anything, but I did like it. If I do have the opportunity to do something else like that, I don’t know, it’s kind of like a waiting game. Do I fit that character or not? I did really like it,” she said.
Upon doing some research, the film is titled You Lose You Die. It also stars former Tough Enough winner and WWE talent Josh Bredl, and Freddy Rodríguez (Six Feet Under, Bull).
