Charlotte Flair reportedly backstage for RAW tonight

In a report from PWInsider, Charlotte Flair is backstage for RAW tonight.

The last we saw Flair was on the March 8 episode where she was in a backstage segment with Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke. She confirmed last Monday that she had previously tested positive for COVID-19 and was in quarantine which was the reason for her absence.

There is no official word from WWE that Flair will be returning tonight and if she is backstage if she will be utilized on the show. However, WrestleMania is less than two weeks away and before Flair took time to get better she challenged Asuka for a match at the big event.

Since then, Rhea Ripley made her big RAW debut last week and challenged Asuka herself for the RAW Women’s Title. The match was confirmed between Ripley and Asuka and they will have a contract signing tonight.

Ripley had a recent interview with the New York Post where she commented on the possibility of Flair being added to her WrestleMania match. Flair defeated Ripley at last year’s event for the NXT Women’s Title.

Ripley said, “I’d be down for the match if she got added, but also in a selfish way I really want to have a one-on-one match with Asuka. It’s something that I’ve wanted for a long, long time. I’ve always wanted to step in the ring with Asuka and we haven’t had a one-on-one match ever. So I think there is that it factor that everyone is really excited about. If Charlotte gets added to the match, I’m still not going to complain. It’s still going to be a fantastic match and it’s going to be a fantastic story. So I guess we will just see what happens. She always has her way, like you said, she’ll probably end up in it but that’s not my call to make. So I’ll be happy either way. I’m just happy to have a match at WrestleMania and I think it’s still gonna be great whether it has Charlotte in it or not.”

There were prior rumors of Flair showing up on SmackDown but that was prior to her saying she tested positive for COVID-19.

Check back with Diva Dirt to discuss tonight’s RAW in the discussion post that will be up shortly.
