Hola a todos, and welcome to the CMLL Weekly Review! Besides the signature tag team matches that we have every week, we also had the debut of Japanese wrestler Yuki Mashiro.
To start the week on Sunday, the CMLL did a special event called Mujeres en la Lucha about the struggles that women face on a daily basis.
They also had an exhibition tag match. You can watch the full event and the exhibition match below.
In the glamour Tuesdays (martes de glamour), the newly crowned CMLL Japan Women’s Champion Dark Silueta teamed up with Valkyria and Nexy to take on Kira, Dulce Kitty, and one half of the CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Champions, Lluvia.
After both teams tied up Lluvia with some help from the ropes, she pinned her rival Dark Silueta to get the win for her team. You can watch the match below!
While in México City, ahead of her match at Supercard of Honor, Persephone teamed up with Reyna Isis to score a win against La Catalina and the other half of the CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Champions, La Jarochita.
Plus we had the appearance of Yuki Mashiro ahead of her big debut!
On Friday we had the debut of Yuki Mashiro in a tag match along with Lluvia and Kira versus the sister duo of Olympia and Hera with the CMLL Japan Women’s Champion Dark Silueta.
That saw Yuki overcoming her excitement and nervousness by winning the match with the octopus stretch submission.
