DD Power 15: April 16 to April 22

Ranking #15 – Alisha Edwards

Last Week – N/A

Welcome, Alisha, we’ve been expecting you.

Displaying a new aggressive seek, Edwards picks up a victory this week in Impact and may have found herself in a new storyline as well!

As she continue to assault her opponent, Edwards would be chased off by Impact’s newest Knockout, Jody Threat, who vowed to give Edwards her comeuppance.

Ranking #14 – Tiffany Stratton

Last Week – 8

She may not have been in action this week but Stratton still managed to secure herself a title shot next week in a triple threat match.

Initially Indi would offer a rematch to the former champion but Stratton would march out, probably after another Tiffany Epiphany, to express her disgust at this idea.

The opportunity secured, Stratton will need to overcome both the former and current champion to earn the title but as her star continues to rise, many fans are rooting for her.

Ranking #13 – Roxanne Perez

Last Week – N/A

Roxanne Perez took to the ring to silence Zoey Stark this week on NXT after some comments made previously.

Marking Perez’s first match since losing her title, she had a lot to prove going in to amidst this storyline going on surrounding her anxieties.

She would come away with the victory and be confronted by Indi Hartwell who graciously offered the former champion a rematch for the title next week. Granted, Tiffany Stratton would get involved but the point remains that Perez has a chance to reclaim her title.

Ranking #12 – Cora Jade

Last Week – 9

Marking her in-ring return since working the Women’s Battle Royal at New Year’s Evil, which also prompted the beginning of her feud with Lyra Valkyria, Jade defeated Gigi Dolin on this week’s NXT.

Jade ran down the women’s division in her return promo last week and Dolin was one such victim so she was extra motivated to make Jade eat those words. While Jacy Jayne would make her presence felt and Jade emerges victorious.

She looked to share more words with the crowd but Valkyria quickly interrupted and made it official: the two will (finally) face off at Spring Breakin’.

Ranking #11 – Rhea Ripley

Last Week – N/A

The Smackdown Women’s Champion made her presence felt on RAW this past week by continuing to tease an eventual confrontation with Solo Sikoa and nearly decapitating Kevin Owen’s in the RAW Main Event.

As entertaining as this is and the fans continue to eat up everything Ripley does, she is the Smackdown Women’s Champion and although she didn’t appear on Smackdown this week, her first title defence was made official. At Backlash it will be Ripley vs Zelina Vega, the two having crossed paths numerous times due to their respective factions.

Ripley is and continues to be a star but hopefully she will become more embroiled with the women’s division again shortly.
