The build to IMPACT Emergence continues.
This week’s IMPACT Wrestling opened with Deonna Purrazzo going one on one with Rosemary in preparation for Emergence. Naturally, The Virtuosa targeted the Demon Assassin’s left arm throughout the bout. Jessicka distracted the ref at the end, which inadvertently led to Purrazzo rolling Rosemary up for the victory.
Gisele Shaw was the next woman to step up to Masha Slamovich, however she did not last long. After only getting a nearfall in, Gisele fell victim to the Snow Plow for the three-count.
A backstage confrontation between Mia Yim and Madison Rayne led to Gail Kim booking a match between the two next week. The August 11 episode will also feature the long-awaited in-ring debut of Killer Kelly.
As it stands, IMPACT Emergence still features two Knockouts matches: Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace vs. Mia Yim and Knockouts World Tag Team Champions Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie vs. VXT’s Deonna Purrazzo and Chelsea Green.
