Deonna Purrazzo shares who she would like to take on from AEW at Hard to Kill

IMPACT Wrestling’s next major pay-per-view is quickly approaching. It will be Hard to Kill and will take place on Jan. 16. This event will be a big one for the Knockouts as new Tag Team Champions will be crowned for the first time since 2013. With this comes wanting to know who may face Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Title.

She defeated Rosemary at Final Resolution over the weekend. There will be another event, Genesis, on IMPACT Plus coming Jan. 9 prior to Hard to Kill. Prior to that, her feud had been with Su Yung. Yung had taken the title off of Purrazzo for just 21-days before it was won back ushering in a second reign.

What has received a lot of attention and opened up more possibilities for future opponents moving into the new year is the collaboration that is developing between IMPACT and AEW. Although the women haven’t participated in any on-screen interactions, many women from both companies have talked on social media about the potential match-ups.

Purrazzo recently spoke with David Penzer on Sitting Ringside about potential challengers from AEW she would want to have at Hard to Kill.

“I would love to wrestle Britt [Baker] at Hard To Kill. I would love to wrestle [Hikaru] Shida at Hard To Kill,” said Purrazzo.

Baker and Purrazzo are known to be close friends outside of wrestling which tends to bring the best matches. As far as Shida, who wouldn’t want to see champions from opposing companies fight in the ring?

When it comes to the Knockouts roster though, Purrazzo can see Taya Valkyrie being the next opponent. It doesn’t stop there though. She would love to have Rosemary again or even Tasha Steelz.

“As far as the IMPACT roster goes, my number right now, just because we’ve had some interactions, is Taya Valkyrie. She says she’s the longest reigning Knockouts Champion of all-time and I’m over it. I would like to defeat her, break her arm, piledrive her, and shut her up a little bit. A rematch with Rosemary would be great. If Tasha Steelz is available, bring on Tasha.”
