WWE’s popular “reality” television shows, Total Divas and its off-shoot Total Bellas are reportedly not getting renewed by E!
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the entertainment channel won’t be picking up the shows for new seasons.
Here’s what Dave Meltzer had to say;
“There is a pretty decent chance “Total Bellas” is done. We had been told that as of a month ago, E! had not renewed the show nor “Total Divas,” so its reality show tie-up with WWE that dates back eight years and led to an influx of women fans (which softened the blow of the more massive decline of male fans during that same period) for its main programming is over.”
At the time of this writing E! have not officially renewed Total Divas for season ten and Total Bellas for season seven nor have they scheduled any release dates. They have also not confirmed the cancellations.
The report comes after The Bella Twins revealed that Total Bellas will end “sooner than later”. In the same interview, they also said they were preparing to return to WWE.
Total Divas first aired in 2013 and featured WWE Superstars such as Natalya, Paige, Eva Marie, Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey. Total Bellas debuted in 2016 and centred around the lives of Brie and Nikki Bella.
