Elimination Chamber Predictions For 02.24.24

Elimination Chamber will be here bright and early in the morning or even late at night depending on where you are located. Either way, there’s three women’s matches on the card which actually is more than the men who have two.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles – Preshow

The Kabuki Warriors (c) vs. Indi Hartwell & Candice LeRae

Elimination Chamber Match

Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair vs. Liv Morgan vs. Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Raquel Rodriguez

Women’s World Title

Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Nia Jax

Below is Diva Dirt’s predictions!

WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles – Preshow

COLBY: With Bronson Reed being left off of the card, I’m glad to see Indi Hartwell booked as she should’ve been in the first place. My main complaint, though, is why didn’t at least give this more build than just throwing it together on the pre-show? Candice and Indi were both on Raw this past Monday… Nevertheless, I don’t see Kabuki Warriors losing anytime soon, but I’m sure this will be a fun clash. I hope they have plenty of time and cheers to the women who have more matches than men this time around.

WINNERS: Kabuki Warriors

NICK: I am super excited that this match was added, mainly due to Indi. Some of these wrestlers come from other countries to the U.S. and leave their loved ones to entertain us all. So it is nice to see people like Indi, Rhea, Grayson, etc. to be able to be in front of their home again.

With that being said, it is just way too early for the Kabuki Warriors to drop the titles. If Damage CTRL hadn’t had its change of Bayley and Dakota recently then maybe.

WINNERS: Kabuki Warriors

Elimination Chamber Match

COLBY: What a field! Most of these women were the predicted participants coming out of the Royal Rumble and it just makes sense. Becky’s first ever appearance in the structure, while it’s Liv’s record-setting fifth. Naomi is still featured prominently fresh off her return, and so is Raquel now. Add in a veteran like Bianca and a newcomer like Tiffany and this is a recipe for a match of the night contender in my eyes.

That being said, if you’ve been paying any attention to WWE lately, Becky Lynch is the apparent winner with little seeds of doubt planted to have us think otherwise. Yes, Liv vs. Rhea at WrestleMania would be fantastic, but Becky vs. Rhea is the story they have also been building, and I don’t see them abandoning that idea unless Liv and Becky both somehow get the title shot (which I’m okay with). All in all, I think this one is for The Man.

WINNER: Becky Lynch

NICK: I absolutely love this line up. If anything I would replace Raquel with either Michin, Chelsea, or Shotzi (if she wasn’t injured), but I also get why Raquel is in it. She did really well last year.

This may be long winded but here we go. Who do I think SHOULD win? Liv Morgan. I don’t think Becky vs. Rhea needs to be at Mania or even for the title. Their feud can be built up over the year and they could fight at SummerSlam, title free. What I do think is Liv should win EC, then beat Rhea at Mania so that we have something fresh to move forward with. We all say how we want feuds without titles. Becky vs. Rhea is that.

Now what do I think will happen? Becky will win and it will be a predictable yet amazing encounter at Mania.

WINNER: Becky Lynch

Women’s World Title

COLBY: Honestly, I hope this is the main event. Rhea Ripley has earned the opportunity to headline in her home country ahead of what’s sure to be a huge WrestleMania for her. Simply put, Ripley is retaining here, but I’m all for Nia winning the title… maybe later this year. Here’s hoping they tear the house down.

WINNER: Rhea Ripley

NICK: I would take a swerve pretty much anywhere else. But there is no way Rhea is going to lose this, in her home country, right before WrestleMania, and while she is on top.

WINNER: Rhea Ripley

Diva Dirt will have a Discussion Post up for the event. However, due to the various time zones and this being unique for us in the states, join whenever and talk freely!
