205 Live has become a home for women’s wrestling over the past month.
Since the Aug. 27 episode of the show, one women’s match has been aired each week. Matches have included Cora Jade, Amari Miller, Valentina Feroz, and Katrina Cortez.
This week’s episode which was taped prior to NXT sees Ember Moon taking on Cora Jade. Two women’s matches were previously hosted on the 205 Live brand during the Dusty Tag Team Classic earlier this year. Both Moon and Jade took part in those matches.

On a star-studded edition of 205 Live, Ember Moon comes to the purple brand to tangle with Cora Jade.
Moon recently revealed that she’s seeking a different approach after losing four consecutive matches, while the 20-year-old Jade is in search of an early career-defining victory at the expense of the veteran.
Will the former NXT Women’s Champion employ a win-at-all-costs strategy to break out of her funk, and will it be enough to defeat the upstart?
WWE has seemingly changed the direction of the show’s format ever since releases were made which diminished the brand’s roster. There is no additional information at this time if women will continue being a staple on the show or if it will be rebranded with a new name.
