Mickie James vs. Maryse (c) – Night of Champions 2009
Mickie James had a short feud with Maryse leading into Night of Champions in July 2009. Although their feud wasn’t long-lasting, this was an important moment in James’ career. After delivering a massive DDT to Maryse, James captures her first and only Divas Championship. This marked her as the second Diva to ever hold both the Women’s and Divas Championships in their career.
She would end up holding the title for 79-days until she would drop the title to Jillian. She is the only woman to hold not only the Women’s and Divas title but also TNA”s Knockouts Championship.
