Four Knockouts Headline IMPACT; Title Match Set For Down Under Tour

Four Knockouts were part of this week’s five-on-five main event.

This week’s IMPACT opened with a promo segment involving several wrestlers who took issue with each other following Against All Odds. Among them, Gisele Shaw, Savannah Evans, Trinity, and Deonna Purrazzo appeared before Santino Marella booked a five-on-five main event: Motor City Machine Guns, Nick Aldis, Trinity, and Purrazzo vs. Shaw, Evans, Kenny King, Sheldon Jean, and Trey Miguel.

Purrazzo and Shaw started the main event with a flurry of moves as they attempted to score quick pinfalls. Trinity took over, but that soon brought in Evans who bodyslammed Trinity. Purrazzo returned to aid Trinity and they managed to apply their submissions on both Shaw and Evans at the same time.

Later, Evans broke up Shelley’s submission on Miguel, which led to Deonna equalizing her. Shaw and Trinity threw kicks, but then Jai Vidal took Trinity down. In the end, Shelley scored the win for the babyface team.

It was announced that Shaw will challenge Purrazzo during the Down Under Tour on July 1. If Shaw wins, the Slammiversary title match will become a three-way.

Next week’s show will feature Taylor Wilde vs. Killer Kelly.
