This year’s Deadline is coming up quickly, and with that is the Iron Survivor Challenge. The five competitors in this year’s match were decided by John Cena. He chose the following names:
- Kendal Grey
- Lola Vice
- Sol Ruca
- Kelani Jordan
- Jordynne Grace
A Iron Survivor Women’s Summit is set for next week.
Kendal Grey will be getting a huge opportunity at Deadline, but the EVOLVE Women’s Champion retained big at NXT Gold Rush. On the Nov. 25 episode of NXT, Grey defended against Fatal Influence’s Lainey Reid. This was a big chance for Reid as both Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley are current champions. However, Jayne and Henley were banned from ringside. Well, they were.
Jayne and Henley still appeared and attempted to help out Reid, but Wren Sinclair was there to help for Grey. The referee did throw out all outsiders. Reid went up top to try and put Grey away, but Grey got back up and hit a German Suplex from the top rope. She hit Shades of Grey to retain.
Izzi Dame had a vignette air on this week’s show following her betrayal on Tatum Paxley last week. Dame cost Paxley the NXT Women’s Title which is back in the hands of Jacy Jayne.
