IYO SKY Has Had Enough Disrespect! Raquel Rodriguez Earns Intercontinental Title Opportunity!

The March 10, 2025, edition of WWE Raw continued the march toward WrestleMania.Raquel Rodriguez secured a future title shot, and the Women’s World Championship scene turned into an all-out power struggle. Let’s break down the action.

Bayley made her way through the backstage area, Natalya was once again seen giving advice to Maxxine Dupri—perhaps an ongoing mentorship in the making?

Meanwhile, WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria was interviewed by Jackie Redmond from the upper deck of the arena. Lyra made it clear she has no love for Ivy Nile but acknowledged her skills. When asked about Bayley vs. Raquel, Lyra saw it as an opportunity to correct past history—Bayley holds a win over her, and Valkyria would be watching closely.

Raquel Rodriguez (w/ Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio) vs. Bayley

The match kicked off with Raquel overpowering Bayley early, sending her to the mat with a pair of shoulder tackles. Bayley attempted to use her speed, landing a boot to the face and a sharp armdrag, but Raquel’s sheer strength took over as she spun Bayley around like a ragdoll before delivering a crushing fallaway slam.

Bayley, ever the opportunist, created an opening with a knee to the jaw and a splash in the corner. As Raquel found herself draped over the apron, Bayley capitalized with an elbow drop to the spine before sending us to an in-match commercial break.

Returning to the action, Raquel attempted a leg drop on the apron—an ambitious but costly move, as Bayley rolled away, causing Raquel to crash hard. Smelling blood, Bayley unleashed a neckbreaker, followed by a running knee and a top-rope-assisted version of the same neckbreaker. A sliding clothesline earned her a near fall.

Raquel battled back, hurling Bayley across the ring, but the veteran kept finding ways to strike back. A top-rope elbow drop scored Bayley another two-count, but Raquel wouldn’t stay down. Bayley ramped up the aggression, sending Raquel face-first into the turnbuckle before nailing a belly-to-back suplex.

The chaos escalated outside the ring—Bayley sent Raquel into the ring post, Dominik Mysterio hopped onto the apron, and Liv Morgan got involved by grabbing Bayley’s leg. In the distraction, Bayley knocked Dom off the apron and attempted a high-risk dive, only for Raquel to catch her and slam her onto the announce table!

Somehow, Bayley made it back into the ring before the ten count, but she had nothing left. Raquel crushed her with a big boot and sealed the deal with a Texana Bomb for the win.

Winner: Raquel

With this victory, Raquel Rodriguez has secured a future shot at the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

Fresh off her Women’s World Championship victory last week, Iyo Sky made her entrance to a well-earned ovation inside Madison Square Garden. Interviewed by Michael Cole, Sky embraced the “You deserve it!” chants and reflected on making history in the world’s most famous arena. For her, the win wasn’t just about gold—it was about proving that nothing is impossible.

But celebrations in WWE never last long. Cole welcomed Sky’s WrestleMania challenger, Bianca Belair, who joined the ring brimming with confidence. Belair was all smiles, thrilled about their upcoming match, but Cole wasn’t about to let her off easy. He pointed out that Belair’s involvement last week may have influenced Rhea Ripley’s loss, raising questions about whether Ripley would still be champion if Belair hadn’t been there.

Before Bianca could finish explaining herself, Rhea Ripley stormed down to the ring. The former champion, seething, questioned Belair’s presence last week and accused her of being scared—scared because she knew she couldn’t beat Ripley one-on-one. Belair, never one to back down, shot back that Ripley was only mad because she knew she couldn’t beat Sky.

And just like that, things boiled over. Both women turned their frustrations toward Sky—big mistake. The champion responded in kind, slapping both Ripley and Belair across the face, earning a massive pop from the MSG crowd. Sky wasn’t about to be overlooked. She left the ring to her music, leaving two furious challengers behind and a crowd that just got its money’s worth.

WrestleMania season is in full swing, and Raw delivered. Buckle up—things are only getting crazier from here.
