Jade Cargill Ends Tiffy Time, Wins WWE Women’s Title In Dominant Fashion

Jade Cargill has won her first singles championship in WWE after over two years with the company.

Cargill defeated Tiffany Stratton ending the reign of Stratton at 302 days on Nov. 1 at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Stratton’s reign is the third longest reign in the title’s history dating back to 2016. Only behind Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair. Cargill is just the 14th woman to hold this title and the third Black woman in nearly 10 years.

The match was under six minutes as Cargill dominated Stratton through the match. Cargill attacked Stratton two weeks ago on SmackDown, turning heel in the process. This left Stratton with an injured knee and not at 100%. Cargill won the match with Jaded.

This was the only women’s match at the event.
