Jade Cargill goes 28-0, Tay Conti emerges as next challenger

Jade Cargill’s undefeated steak continues on this week’s AEW Dynamite as she retains the TBS Championship in a match against The Bunny. She is now 28-0.

Leading up to the match result, Mark Sterling and Matt Hardy interjected attempting to help with Hardy tossing The Bunny the brass knuckles and Sterling sending in the TBS Title belt to help out Cargill.

As the referee was handling Hardy and Sterling on the ring apron, both women tried to utilize their weapons. Cargill got the better of the exchange. The Bunny came very close to winning the title with a near fall from a rollup. After two swift kicks to the face of the champ, The Bunny went for Down the Rabbit Hole, but Cargill countered and won after delivering Jaded.

After the bout, Cargill took to the mic and issued her next open challenge but wants to know who is left to answer. Tay Conti’s music hits and she makes her way out to the stage with a mic in hand. She says she is not just next, she is the one that is going to beat her.

Conti ran to the ring as Jade mentioned the bout to take place at the upcoming Revolution event. The two get face to face in the ring and Cargill gives a kiss to the forehead of Conti before The Bunny gets back in the ring. The Bunny and Conti go at it as Cargill steps back.

Conti hits The Bunny with the TayKO and Cargill takes Conti down with a punt kick. Anna Jay rushes to the ring with a steel chair to help Conti but Cargill exits the ring before anything can happen.

Despite Cargill saying the match would take place at Revolution, AEW did not officially announce the bout.

The match that has been determined for Revolution is Thunder Rosa challenging Dr. Britt Baker for the AEW Women’s World Title. They will have a contract signing this Friday on Rampage. Serena Deeb will continue her five-minute rookie challenge on Rampage as well.
