Jade Cargill: “I’m Here To Elevate This Title, That’s What I Plan To Do”

Jade Cargill won her first singles title in WWE last weekend at Saturday Night’s Main Event. She dethroned Tiffany Stratton to become the WWE Women’s Champion. Stratton held the gold for just over 300 days.

We’ll see how Cargill’s reign starts on the Nov. 7 episode of SmackDown, but she spoke with the Rob Brown Show to discuss her win and future.

“I’m just starting, but I’ve always had ‘Champ’ written across my forehead and body. That’s what I am. That’s what I do. It feels astonishing. I’m here to raise the stakes. I’m here to elevate this title. That’s what I plan to do. That’s what I’m going to do. I don’t want to carry my baby in a backpack. I don’t want her suffocating. This is my child. This is legacy. This is going to do nothing but elevate the women’s division and the women’s locker room. I’m not hiding her. Why would I do that?”
