On the Feb. 17 episode of NXT, it was confirmed that Jaida Parker was out with a neck injury. She has been in a feud with Blake Monroe since her hiatus return last month.
The news of Parker’s injury was confirmed by interim NXT General Manager Robert Stone. He let Monroe know after entering his office. Parker took on Monroe last week in singles action. The match ended in a double count out.
There is no word on the severity of Parker’s injury or how long she will be out.
While Stone discussed Parker’s injury with Monroe, he has decided to start the next women’s Speed tournament. This is to give Fallon Henley, the current Women’s Speed Champion, an opponent. Much to the chagrin of Monroe, Stone booked her in a match against Thea Hail next week.
