Jazmyn Nyx, real name Jade Gentile, recently left WWE after a three year run with the company. She worked on the NXT brand as a member of Fatal Influence and also crossed the line in TNA.
Gentile was open about her exit with the company saying it was because WWE would not negotiate a higher wage when her contract was set to renew. In a recent intwrview with Ariel Helwani, Gentile discusses her decision further.
“Cost of living goes up every year… if you don’t get a raise, you’re losing money. That’s kind of how I looked at it, and I just felt like I had to make the decision for myself… It felt like I was losing money.
I’m trying to do everything. You pay for hair, makeup — girls are different. There are a lot of expenses, especially being in WWE outfits every single week.”
