It has been confirmed that the Iron Survivor Challenge match will be returning at NXT Deadline on Dec. 6. Previous Iron Survivor Challenge winners include Roxanne Perez, Blair Davenport, and Giulia. Perez and Giulia were able to capture the NXT Women’s Champion from becoming the Iron Survivor.
On the Nov. 18 episode of NXT Gold Rush, it was confirmed that the participants for both the Women’s and the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge will be announced next week on night two of Gold Rush. NXT General Manager Ava stated that normally, it is WWE Legends who determine the participants in these matches. This year, it will be John Cena.
There are five participants in this type of match.
