Jordynne Grace Stands Tall Over Roxanne Perez! Stephanie Vaquer Makes History

Last night was NXT Roadblock! This show had major implications for the women’s division, with a Title vs. Title clash headlining the card. Let’s dive in!

Backstage, Jaida Parker caught up with WWE LFG mentor Mickie James. Mickie wasn’t about to feed her the “wait your turn” line—she knows Jaida’s all about taking what’s hers. With Stand & Deliver around the corner, Mickie reminded her that now is the time to make her move. Real recognizes real, and Jaida just locked in her next step.

Jordynne Grace vs. Roxanne Perez

Perez darted out of the gate, quickly dodging Grace and rolling to the outside to buy some time. Grace wasn’t in the mood for games and gave chase, only for Roxanne to pull her to the floor by the legs. Smart but risky—Perez took advantage, stomping Grace’s knee against the steel steps before sliding back inside.

Back in the ring, Perez stayed aggressive, unloading mounted punches and working over Grace’s legs. She locked in a stump puller, stretching Grace’s knee in an awkward direction before transitioning into a roll-up for two. Grace powered out and went for a sleeper, but Perez targeted the injured knee to escape.

Perez charged into the corner, looking for a follow-up, but Grace caught her in mid-air. The plan backfired, though—Grace’s knee buckled when she tried to plant her for a slam. Perez pounced, tying her leg around the bottom turnbuckle and delivering a vicious diving stomp.

After the break, Grace fought her way back, absorbing stiff strikes and dishing out bodyslams in return. Roxanne countered a third attempt into a jackknife pin, but Grace muscled her up into a powerbomb for two. The champ wasn’t done—she hoisted Perez onto the top turnbuckle, but Perez fought back, landing a flying rana that left Grace stunned. A frog splash followed, but Jordynne kicked out at two and seamlessly countered into a crossface!

Perez fishhooked her way free, but the window of opportunity was closing fast. A desperate roll-up attempt led to a vicious backfist from Grace, followed by a rolling DVD and the Juggernaut Driver for the decisive three-count.

Winner: Jordynne Grace

Over the weekend, Zaria dropped a TikTok video hyping up Sol’s match next week. Apparently, their version of training includes smashing plates, obliterating tires with sledgehammers, and even some axe throwing. Not exactly standard in-ring prep, but hey—when has that ever stopped them before?

Fallon Henley confronted Ava, demanding a title rematch, but before things got too heated, Ricky Saints walked in with some classic deflection. “Why’s everyone so angry?” Jacy Jayne took the chance to remind him that Ridge Holland had a point—Ricky didn’t belong here.

Title vs. Title Match – Giulia vs. Stephanie Vaquer

Two of the best technical wrestlers in NXT collided in this high-stakes match, with both women showing immense respect by opening with a handshake. That sportsmanship lasted about five seconds—Giulia took early control, sending Vaquer to the ropes and landing a stiff shot. Vaquer countered with a SVB attempt, but Giulia slipped out, leading to a tense standoff.

Vaquer tried to take control with precise strikes, but Giulia showcased her counter-wrestling, reversing into a backslide for two. Vaquer responded with a leglock, sending them both tumbling to the outside. The brawl continued on the floor, with Giulia delivering a nasty apron shot before climbing the turnbuckle and nailing a missile dropkick.

As we returned from break, Vaquer had Giulia on the ropes, chaining together a headscissor takedown, Eat Defeat, and a corner Meteora. A ten-count headscissor slam rattled Giulia’s skull, but she kicked out at two and a half.

Giulia turned the tide with a double underhook superplex, leveling both women. Vaquer recovered first, dodging a lariat and landing a spinning back kick. She went for a dragon screw, looking to take out Giulia’s base, but the STARDOM champion countered with a brutal triangle choke.

Vaquer barely reached the ropes but had little left in the tank. Giulia connected with the Arrivederci Knee for a nearfall, then lifted Vaquer for the Northern Lights Bomb. Vaquer fought through, hitting a desperate superkick and a second SVB. She wasn’t taking any chances—she hit a third, covered, and scored the clean victory.

Winner: Stephanie Vaquer (NEW NXT Women’s Champion & NXT Women’s North American Champion)

Vaquer celebrated in a shower of confetti, hoisting both titles high. A massive win, a star-making moment, and a clear message to the rest of the division—Stephanie Vaquer isn’t here to play.

This week’s NXT was a statement show. Jordynne Grace reasserted her dominance, Jaida Parker is ready to make her move, and Stephanie Vaquer just cemented herself as a major force heading into Stand & Deliver season. The road to the biggest night of the year is getting clearer.
