The two battled at Bound for Glory in October where James dethroned Purrazzo from an impressive 343-days while becoming a four-time Knockouts champion in the process. Since the two can’t keep themselves separated once again, Scott D’Amore and Gail Kim have reinitiated the no-contact clause they had prior to Bound for Glory. They have added that if Matthew Rehwoldt gets involved in any way, then he will be fired.
There’s only one way to solve this feud once and for all as the two will now be battling in a Texas Death Match at Hard to Kill.
It was also confirmed that the match that was announced at ROH’s Final Battle between ROH Women’s Champion Rok-C and Deonna Purrazzo will be on an episode of IMPACT following Hard to Kill. Purrazzo, as the AAA Reina de Reinas Champion, interrupted Rok-C’s celebration after she retained her title at the event. The two shook hands for a Winner Takes All match. On this week’s IMPACT! a first-time match took place between Tenille Dashwood and Jessie McKay. Dashwood picked up the win against one-half of the tag team champions thanks to Kaleb with a K’s involvement. Kaleb pulled the referee out of the ring and moments later, tripped McKay. This gave time for Dashwood to capitalize with the Spotlight kick to get the win.
Chelsea Green was present during the contract signing at the end of the show that had her fiance Matt Cardona involved. Cardona will be facing Moose and W.Morrissey for the IMPACT World Title at Hard to Kill.
After the signing turned physical, Moose tried to add more damage to Cardona when Green pulled the chair out of his hands after yelling at him to stop. Cardona got back on his feet and went to go hit Moose with another chair but after Moose moved out of the way, Cardona hit Green instead.
