Tensions have boiled over between Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida. Since Shida’s recent return, she has been connected with Statlander. The duo even attempted to capture the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Titles together. However, things have broken apart between these two at Sunday’s Double or Nothing.
At Sunday’s event, Shida and Statlander’s camaraderie went out the window as they were two out of the four women who participated in the AEW Women’s World Title match. Thekla retained and the match also included Jamie Hayter.
Since then, Statlander has issued a challenge to Shida for this Wednesday’s Dynamite/Collision episode. Shida responded and accepted to a Lights Out Philly Street Fight.
