Latest updates on Mickie James’ belongings returned in a trash bag by WWE

Yesterday on her social media, Mickie James called out WWE for how they handled the return of her belongings. In the photo she took was her posessions in a trash bag marked with her name. She captioned the photo by addressing Vince McMahon saying she received her “care package.” A hashtag with Women’s Wrestling Matters followed suit which was very telling in and of itself.

Stephanie McMahon and Triple H were quick to respond to this publicly. Their responses said this action to James and anyone else that has been treated this way was embarrassing and disrespectful. The action was taken against the individual who was responsible for this.

The individual who is said to have been let go as a result of this is now former Senior Director of Talent Relations Mark Carrano. According to a report by Fightful Select, several internal personnel has been let go but Carrano is the one to blame for the trash bag incident.

Carrano’s role was reportedly already taken over by John Laurinaitis previously. Laurinaitis had the job of contacting those recently released to deliver the bad news. He has since called them to apologize for the way their belongings were handled and says that the situation had been “taken care of” without specifically saying that Carrano was fired at that time.

WWE sources reportedly reached out to Fightful to express the remorse about the trash bag incidents. Backing on Stephanie’s words that it is “embarassing” and also saying it will never happen again. It was confirmed that they wanted to take care of this as soon as possible.

But how long has this been going on? Several former WWE talent has chimed in that this has happened to them or at least mentioned the mistreatment that Carrano presented. Gail Kim, Maria, Jillian Hall, and Fred Rosser (f.k.a Darren Young) have all commented on the situation.
