A tough break for Layla Diggs.
Diggs recently made her transition from EVOLVE to NXT and has received quite an impressive little push. She won a Fatal 4 Way last week to become the number one contender to Zaria’s NXT Women’s North American Title. The match was slated to take place this week on July 14, however, an injury has occurred.
According to General Manager Robert Stone, Diggs is not medically cleared to complete. A type of injury was not disclosed. He stated he will have to look into a replacement to face Zaria. Diggs took on Zaria at the NXT live event on July 11.
