Lei Ying Lee won her very first championship in her career at NXT’s Gold Rush just a couple of weeks ago. She defeated Kelani Jordan and Jordynne Grace to be crowned the new and current TNA Knockouts World Champion. Lee has worked hard to get to this point in her career, and she sat down with the Busted Open Podcast to share her feelings.
“I get so excited and also nervous, you know? I feel I’m there alone, I wish my friends or family will be there with me. But it’s okay. I think that’s my big moment, I just go there and do my best. When I’m in the ring, I feel the audience cheer for me, they know me, even though I am in a different company. That means a lot to me.”
She was asked what the feeling was she got when she won the title and got to hold it. She asked if she could say a bad word, and after that permission, she exclaimed, “I fucking made it!”
