In our TNA Impact main event tonight, the TNA Knockouts World Championship is on the line as NXT’s Arianna Grace defends the title against the former champion Lei Ying Lee. With Lee’s former tag team partner, Xia Brookside, banned from ringside, Lee must put it to the side tonight and focus on regaining her championship.
Grace is backstage being interviewed by Gia Miller and is confused about why she has to defend her title tonight. She reasons it’s because of her father, Santino Marella, and doesn’t have anything else to prove. Despite this, she plans to make more plans with Stacks tonight.
Elayna Black makes her way to the ring with a mic in hand, and despite who wins the Knockouts title match tonight, she’s determined to take that title and boasts her business and money on the side. George Iceman interrupts her, and Ash By Elegance says that her brand is on top and that she makes more money.
Indi Hartwell cannot believe what she’s hearing and tries to bring them back to reality. Black leaves while Hartwell begins to call Ash completely fake from head to toe. Hartwell gives Ash a check of her own, as all three have stated their pursuit of the Knockouts title.
Lee does a good job of keeping Grace off her feet, but Grace tries to roll her way out of danger. The former champion is all about action and takes out both Stacks and Grace on the outside.
Grace finds her momentum back by slamming Lee into the mat. Meanwhile, it seems that Brookside is watching from backstage. Lee attempts to make Grace tap out, but Grace gets some help from Stacks. Grace heads to the top rope and lands a crossbody, but Lee powers through and lands a Fallaway Slam.
Both end up on the top rope, and Grace lands a Superplex as she tries to mock Lee. Lee fights back and lands a Warrior’s Way. Lee is about to win her championship back, but Stacks gets involved. The referee sends him packing, but Grace tries to put Lee out quickly, only to fail. Lee lands a Neckbreaker from the corner and gets the pinfall to win back the Knockouts title.
Lee is now a two-time Knockouts Champion!
