Liv Morgan Makes Return At Survivor Series, Costs John Cena IC Title

Liv Morgan is back.

During Survivor Series on Saturday, Morgan made her return from injury. She was out for nearly six months due to a shoulder injury she had in a match on Raw. This caused her to miss Evolution and almost the rest of 2025.

Morgan returned and helped her boyfriend, Dominik Mysterio recapture the WWE Intercontinental Title from John Cena. This was Cena’s last PLE match and he will have his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event in December.

To start the match, Mysterio had Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez at ringside. They made their presence known in a big way. Not only did Rodriguez clock Cena from the ring apron, both Perez and herself would deliver their finishers to Cena. Past the midway point of the match, Mysterio had a scare on the outside to his shoulder. Perhaps a foreshadow of Morgan’s return due to her shoulder injury? It was all a ruse, however.

While the referee was on the outside with Mysterio, Rodriguez hit Cena with the Tejana Bomb as Perez executed Pop Rox. Mysterio got back in the ring to capitalize, which didn’t make the official happy. The referee banned both Rodriguez and Perez to the back. A bit later, the referee inadvertently was knocked out. This left the men of Judgment Day to come down to help Dom. However, Cena was able to thwart this and called for a new referee. Instead, he got Liv Morgan.

Morgan made her way to the ring. She first slugged Mysterio, making many think she turned on her boyfriend, but not so fast. After jumping into the arms of Cena, Morgan had an evil smile creep over her face and the crazy look in her eyes as she hit a low blow on Cena. Mysterio was able to pin Cena with Morgan getting the referee back in the ring.

Because Morgan is officially back, her appearance in the WrestleMania 42 women’s promo has been added. Her martini was waiting on her.
