Liv Morgan Reaches 100 Days As Women’s World Champion

Liv Morgan has reached 100 days as Women’s World Champion, and do you know how? Without defending the title once since she won it at WrestleMania.

That’s right, another top talent of WWE, not actively having title matches. And instead of WWE being “creative” and finding her some competition after she defeated Stephanie Vaquer for the title at WrestleMania, she was placed in the Queen of the Ring tournament. A tournament in which she lost in the finals to IYO SKY.

Don’t worry though, Morgan will finally defend her title this weekend at SummerSlam against SKY…who has already defeated her.

With prior and current championship reigns lacking focus, direction, and any clear competition…it ends up being a punishment to become the top champion these days.

Congratulations to Morgan for literally holding a belt for 100 days. If she retains against SKY and holds it for another week, she will move into the third most combined days as champion in this belt’s history since 2016.
