Liv Morgan reportedly no longer receiving a singles push

Liv Morgan has recently seemed to lose some steam behind her initial push towards a better position in the company. As of WrestleMania in April things to be in Morgan’s favor. She picked up a big win at the Kick off show at WrestleMania against the ring veteran Natalya.

Following this, she was able to end the rivalry against Ruby Riott by stringing together a couple of wins there as well. Morgan even had a match against Charlotte Flair and although she took that loss she looked great in the process. Now things appear to be reverting backward.

Within the past couple of weeks, Morgan has seen herself on the losing end. She stumbled during a tag team match with Natalya as her partner and then subsequently lost to Natalya the very next week.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is a reason for this. Morgan’s singles push has been extinguished as Paul Heyman stepped back from his position within the RAW brand.

“I guess whatever it was with Liv, it changes that. Obviously the previous regime wanted to build Liv as a big singles star.”

Morgan reportedly went to Vince McMahon herself requesting her move to RAW as she was never used on the SmackDown brand. She returned on-screen at the beginning of the year as the secret lover of Lana during the Lana/Rusev/Bobby Lashley storyline.

After her match this week, Morgan showed some disappointment in the way the match was edited as well and took to Twitter to air her grievances:

There was a glimpse after her loss this week when she was approached by Riott that there may be a reunion there. Could we see them back as a tag team or was this a way to push Morgan off tv?
