The women’s matches over the weekend at WrestleMania 42 left a bad taste in many fans mouths based on match times. The least amount of time was given to Liv Morgan vs. Stephanie Vaquer which clocked in at 6 minutes and 50 seconds.
According to a report by BodySlamNet+ there is a reason for the low match time.
Per sources, the match between Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer was as short as it was because both competitors were banged up heading into the match and WWE didn’t want either one to get hurt further.
Morgan had been banged up from the head bump with Roxanne Perez from Vaquer’s attack a couple weeks ago on Raw.
As for Vaquer, she told Chris Van Vliet that she was injury free and almost 100%.
Morgan defeated Vaquer becoming a three time women’s champion.
